One of America’s most historic silver projects is owned by a publicly traded company in Canada. And now, they’re ramping up new exploration.
What’s happening:
Metalsource Mining (CSE: MSM) has announced new assay results from their exploration program at their Silver Hill Project located in Davidson County, North Carolina
By the numbers:
Metalsource Mining intersected 434 grams per tonne of silver equivalent over 10.64 metres at SH26-11
Metalsource Mining also intersected a 1.52 metre zone which graded roughly 2.1 kilograms per tonne of silver equivalent at SH26-11
Why it matters:
Metalsource Mining’s Silver Hill Project is widely considered to be the first major silver discovery and the first silver mine to go into production in the history of the United States of America

Metalsource Mining previously made major waves at their Silver Hill Project when their first assays at SH26-07 intersected 42.3 grams per tonne of silver over 12.62 metres which notably included a high-grade 2.74 metre zone grading roughly 93.6 grams per tonne of silver
The Silver Hill Project is located on fully private land in Davidson County, North Carolina and has existing access to roads, power and water
The intrigue:
Billionaire mining entrepreneur and investor Eric Sprott is a major shareholder of Metalsource Mining and owns roughly 17% of the company
