- MoonPay and the official corporate arm of the Dogecoin Foundation House of Doge have formed a new strategic partnership to expand Dogecoin payments globally
Why it matters:
- MoonPay has publicly stated they will enable Dogecoin has a native payment option across MoonPay’s existing network of more than 6,000 merchants globally
Going deeper:
- House of Doge and MoonPay are co-launching a new merchant acceptance platform together known as DOGE PAY as part of their new partnership which will allow merchants to seamlessly embed Dogecoin as a payment option for a 1% processing fee
- House of Doge also just recently made waves when they partnered with Paxos to integrate Dogecoin throughout Paxos’ global network of regulated banks, brokerages and payment platforms in more than 150 different countries
