Micron wants to deepen their bet on startups building the future of artificial intelligence. Which is exactly why they’re launching a new venture fund.
What’s happening:
- Micron (NASDAQ: MU) has launched a new $250M USD venture fund known as Micron Ventures Paradigm Fund
Why it matters:
- This is the single largest venture fund that Micron has ever launched
Going deeper:

- Micron has now committed a total of $550M USD into their three different venture funds
- Micron also notably just recently made waves when they committed $3B USD into the semiconductor supply chain ecosystem in the United States of America
The intrigue:
- Micron has been cutting a flurry of significant long term deals lately, including partnering with Anthropic to co-design how memory and storage subsystems will be used in Anthropic’s training and inference infrastructure and a strategic supply deal with Ford (NYSE: F) for automotive memory and storage chips
